Naoki Yoshida and his team reworked this game and completely changed everything. They have turned this game around and it has gained more fans and better reviews and I have heard nothing but good things about a realm reborn. He was really satisfied with the outcome and was relieved to launch and recover the lost FF XIV.

As most don't realize, Naoki Yoshida and his developers of this game has worked three long years to upgrade and turn the original FFXIV into a masterpiece. There are many of us, as well as myself, who are enraged at the issues that have persisted since beta and I haven't until now, realized that my feelings may have been a bit harsh and inadequate towards the team that has been working extremely hard on fixing these errors for the game we are so eager to log on and play.

Though, as I read the forums and articles about this mmo, they weren't expecting millions of players as the community has increased since the original FFXIV and with that, the servers they have implemented weren't substantial for the amount of players that purchased the game and we're hoping to have a smooth, easy access into the world of Eorzea.

I know most of you are angered as I was but I truly thank Naoki Yoshida and his team for doing whatever they can to fix these issues even though they have to put up with us acting like impatient toddlers. We have our reasons to be angry but let us remind ourselves that the developers did not expect the amount of players to join the world of Eorzea.

I, like many of you who also experienced the beta phases and launch is also on the same predicament with registration code issues, wrong service account, login difficulties, and the agony of not being able to play for almost 3 days now due to those issues while also trying multiple times to reach and get a response from the SE Support Center.

Although, I am grateful for this game as I am one of those nerds who have played multiple rpgs & mmorpgs within the past 14 years. Yes, I agree we have spent our money and time into the hopes of reaching the level or elitism and end-game in the world of Eorzea but we have been held back due to the multiple errors that have rejected our access.

I regret for being an bitch spewing blasphemous slander and rage upon these forums as of late but I do apologize and hopefully my issues with the game as well as all the angry virgins and children out there will learn to see the light of day outside and the power of meditation, yoga, and exercise to calm their tits or at least realize some of you are adults and at least need to show some empathy towards Naoki Yoshida and his team.

So again, thank you Square Enix for creating such wonderful masterpiece. And thank you to those who are patient.

Being the original player from 1.0 which I found that it was so bad that I only bothered playing my character up to GLA.5 and left it as it was - even during the free gaming period of 2 years. Came the Beta 3, Beta 4 and EA, I actually finally found the storyline is much easier to follow, and more efforts and details invested and in return I feel more kindled to Eorzea and always looking forward to return to Eorzea after a day worth of real life.

Shame that Square Enix did not pick up the hint from the over-popularity during the Beta 4 and EA, but then again, Square Enix probably did not anticipate the change/hunger from new MMORPG from other games or the new franchisees.

During the FFXIV Beta downtime, I had to resort to Guild Wars 2 but I yearn to return to Eorzea. I have been lucky to be able to get on Balmung during the prime time (NZ evenings) where most of other players would have gone to sleep.

Yeah, they made a fun game. A fun game that is nigh-unplayable and has egregiously bad customer service. They can make all the excuses they want, but at the end of the day they made mistakes that are costing them player retention. They're working to rectify that, and as such I'll be holding back my thanks until I see some evidence that any of this is going to improve on Wednesday.

I agree with you on the situation. They did an excellent job on this game and I will be happy to pay my sub. Even after spending 4 hours of my day trying to get back into the game after receiving error 90000. I feel like SE actually does care about the game and that people are giving them a lot of crap even after hearing that they are working to address the issues this next week.

That being said I fully understand the people who are outraged and are unable to play the game at all because of the server full. Right now to them this feels like they paid for a product and are not receiving it. I will try to be optimistic with SE and hope that this next week that the situation is noticeably better. Not going to be naive enough to say that the next maintenance will end all of the problems but hopefully more people can enjoy this game after all of the work they put into it.

I certainly hope we can see a day where there will be no more posts about full servers. :P

Gameplay is fun and the team did a good job with that, but my god these server issues are crippling, stupid, and really unacceptable. For a multi-billion dollar company that has had 2 other launches in the past, has the countless MMO launches to look at for examples, they have no excuse for this error other than incompetence and/or greed. It's likely not the team's fault itself, it's likely the businessmen higher up. Businessmen fuck up this world too much -_-

I approve of this OP's support. While I was not a 1.0 player, I am quite impressed with what I've seen thus far and look forward to the best you have to offer in the coming months/years/decade. I have no doubts that these issues are being addressed by the technical teams and am happy to pledge future support by purchasing my 180 day subscription. I too wish to provide my support and my thanks for the hard work your data center teams are no doubt working tirelessly to complete.

Pay the naysayers no mind. For they do not know the troubles you deal with on a daily basis. Keep up the good work!
