EDIT: please skip to, and read, post #5
I wonder if by "further" 7 days do they mean a further 7 days to a different 7 days being awarded just for the basic 1017 troubles, or wither this is the original 7 days 'further' to the 3 or so days grace after early access. We are considering including a further 7 free days of play to all currently active and dormant (legacy) FF14 accounts. We plan to begin adding these extra days once the maintenance is over. I will update the exact date and time of when the the extra days will be provided once we have finalised the plans.
Secondly the "brackets legacy", has me worried, giving 7 days to dormant account would solve in the short term the service account problems many customers have faced, legacy and non legacy.
To those of us who fell victim to the registration wizard pointlessly opening a second service account, thus separating our characters from our actual game codes, I do hope Square Enix have the good sense to realize 7~14 free days of extra play time on our DORMANT accounts (the accounts with our beloved characters on them), would mean so many days pressure eased off of the customer support allowing them further time to get around to seeing everyone.
Really the bottom line is people are happy when they're playing. No play time; more time to complain on forums and queue tickets, and be angry.
Thus, it really matters what exactly is meant literally by "Active and Dormant (legacy)" is it legacy only? is it active, and active and dormant legacy, or what?
It really matters to those who currently are not playing because they're characters are on a dormant account and in the meantime their days are ticking by on a separate service account while they're queuing with tickets and running up huge phone bills.
In short:
how many free days (is it 7 or 14) for legacy/non legacy?
Will those days be added to the CORRECT Service account? i.e., the dormant one with our characters on them.
Please SE, do this one right!!
