People AFKing are not the primary cause, but they have been identified by even the developers as a problem. I proposed an easy to implement idea that solves that problem. I don't claim its perfect, but I think that the aggregate playerbase would be happier with being able to login when the servers are up, than playing with a queueless log system in that realistically shouldn't have been a problem today or even in the last 5 years of modern software.
