This is more of just a post to let people know we’re here in FFXIV on Masamune, we’re not on some mass recruiting drive, it’s not how we roll as we prefer to have prior interactions with people before they join...since they’re generally the ones who stay around anyway...some 50 ranged DPS wouldn't go astray though... BLM's or BRD's.



Guild Background
TRF was established in 2006, our main focus is has been PvP MMO’s and have a good reputation in WAR, Aion, GW2 and PS2 as being a skilled and hardcore PvP guild. However with the PvP landscape lacking at the moment and everybody having that MMO itch that needs to be scratched we look towards FFXIV!

Goals in FFXIV.
This isn't our typically game of choice, so we’re just here to kill some time and have some fun and get epics. We’re not out to be a progression guild or stroke our massive epeens, but we won’t taking this game on with a typical casual mindset either, our players will be playing at a high level and there will be epics to be had. We have no current plans to participate in FFXIV’s likely terrible PvP. However, some of us may still check it out for lols.

Joining TRF
TRF is rather tight knit group of players, needless to say vent is required, if you’re already thinking “Man, I hate comms or being on vent etc” we’re not the guild for you, you should want to be a part of the guild community and be on vent when playing...it doesn't mean you should also be transmitting every thought in your head either... If you want to apply head to: trf-guild.com or read below about our linkshell. We’re only interested in skilled and experienced MMO players though, a PvP background isn’t required but its preferred.

Our linkshell has been setup as a social hub, all our members are in there along with our guilds friends and allied guilds. If you know somebody in TRF or you just ran into one of our tanks who just tanked an instance like a boss and want to be a part of that again, you’re welcome to be invited to the linkshell. Also, if you’re interested in applying to the guild but not sure on it, You can join the linkshell too to get a bit of a feeling for the guild, just contact myself(Xile Star) ingame or one of the officers listed on our Free Company page.

How active is your linkshell? I'd definitely be interested in joining if there's a decent amount of player utilizing it. It's always nice to have a good communication network especially since we're on an Primarily Japanese server.

hey linkshell is pretty active, if you just want to join it for dungeon premades or whatever, thats fine. it has 40 members, mostly all very active players.

Oh and Soap, check the forums again, may have a spot in our main group now.
