I know the feeling, it stings all the more when you log in within 15 mins, only to get d/c after 2 and then spend 7 hours trying to log back in to be met with 1017 at every turn... That's my day in a nutshell.
Been struggling to. I noe dat feels.
Yep. Not an impressed or happy customer right now.
Oy. Lets add insult to injury...was 33 in queue and then the World Full message popped up over top of the queue message.
You know what really gets to me? I know there are issues with the server capacity, so I log off when I go to bed or go out or something - I don't think only of myself, and stay logged in but AFK all day and night. I let those other people waiting to play have a chance too. So I try to get back on, and I'm locked out until midnight or later because there are so many people on.
I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
Purple, there is no excuse for this. SE has access to every single bit of information regarding pre-orders, how many people played in the beta, and even how much people are talking about it on the internet - they knew how many people to expect, but they skimp out on the servers to save money. I'm not blaming the production or development team, but I agree that the corporate side of SE is just horrible, and cares for their wallet, not their consumers. Though that's just every company these days, games aren't really made for quality, but to make a quick buck. There is no excuse to have servers fit to serve 10-20% of the population that owns the game.

Thank you for being the decent sort to think of others. I've noticed a lot of AFK people hanging around sanctuaries in particular, some not having moved even after I return an hour or so later. You know what really gets to me? It'd be nice if something could be implemented to kick people that have been idle for several hours, and free up space for those attempting to log on.
I've always been that way, even when I was in the age that I should have been a little troll and ass in general. I just wish more people could think of someone other than themselves - so many people these days just step on everyone that gets in their way just to get what they want. It's funny, though, I treat everyone as nicely as I can, but no one gives me the time of day. :P
Ain't life great?
I really wished they did that. It is so annoying the people who stay online 24/7 for no reason. There should be a kick timer. I swear I have seen people that stay in the same spot that I can come back the next day and they are still there. It is ridiculous! Also the guy who is protecting SE needs to stop. The news post about having more players than expected is crazy. This is the worst launch ever. The free trial is not really free if you have to pay for the game! Also the part of the refund, the terms says no refunds allowed. They will not give you a refund. Please atleast read something instead of running your mouth!Thank you for being the decent sort to think of others.
