I did see the questioned asked though I'm not sure if it got answered or not.

YES they did get new servers for FFXIV and they aren't recycled FFXI ones. In the DVD that came with the collector's edition they show them off and talk up how much they spent on getting the best possible servers.

My Cie which i wont name spent over 200 000$ for the new network infrastructure for the office i work in. Sadly none of the network engineers are very knowledgeable about this new equipment so we are getting problems daily....

Or maybe they know how to use them properly, and someone that has no idea of what are the problems involved shouldn't just assume that he knows better?

Or maybe you assume many people know little about something and you ASSUME SE knows everything? The fact is older out dated games have no problems doing this so either the software or server it's self sucks end of story. ORRR rather than saying they don't want to put it they will just say it's very hard to do. Considering they say it's hard to do many things other and older games do I think it's a mixture of all 3.
