Where are the server queues?

What's the reasoning behind the lack of queues? I understand you don't have to logout, usually I don't, but just to slap you across the face and say "hey try again at 3 am, about 10 hours from now" is pointless. Is your queue cap at 50 people?

I sat in the city online all night so I wouldn't have to fight with this today, got a runtime error from windows and crashed my game within 10 minutes of playing. Now I assumed this was somewhat like other MMOs where you stay "logged in" for 2-5 minutes when you lag out or crash. NOT THE CASE.

Guess I'll level a different character back on the JP realms. I hope SE is going to be offering free character transfers for a one month block after all this settles down.

I completely agree. All of this could be fixed easily with ACTUAL server queues. Even in other MMO's there would be a lot of traffic but the difference was there was actually a queue. Getting the message, "The server is full, please try again later." Is absolutely ridiculous, and it comes off as lazy and damn right amateur when it comes to computer programming. Even if I tried to log in and got a queue that said, "Your place in the queue is 2546." I would still be OK with it. What's unacceptable is the lack thereof.

what i dont understand is that there is a functioning queue in the game...its just that I only see it once out of every 100 login attempts. Why isnt it coming up 100% of the time?

I guess it's 'cause the queue has it's own capacity or maybe the servers are so messed up by traffic that causes you to skip the queue, lol.

Even to have some kind of tracker. Their entire single class system is also an anti-alt system. You can play on other servers on other continents all day but WHO WANTS TO?
