Why not get the programming team to work on the AFK system, while the Network and server teams get to work on the servers themselves?

It isn't a waste of resources to delegate jobs to their required teams, it's good management practice. All of the work they are doing right now is network related. So what is the software or programming team doing?
the network stuff is actually already done the framework for the servers is uploaded everything they are currently working on is software related stability and internal testings of the game environment
