the network stuff is actually already done the framework for the servers is uploaded everything they are currently working on is software related stability and internal testings of the game environmentThey have a team of programmers who could work on it while the network admins work in the data centres, I am a network admin and network engineer by qualification and know exactly how useless a programming team would be to me in server setup and maintenance.
Why not get the programming team to work on the AFK system, while the Network and server teams get to work on the servers themselves?
It isn't a waste of resources to delegate jobs to their required teams, it's good management practice. All of the work they are doing right now is network related. So what is the software or programming team doing?
