    As was said earlier, SE covered any legal obligation to 'repay' for time that there was no access to the server. So i would be thankful for the 7 days they're giving...

    As for the person who was saying you'd be shorted a day: Are you awake and gaming 24 hours a day? if so, color me impressed, because i'd have no idea how a human coudl actually function that way. Again, be grateful for the 7 days they're giving.

    In truth, i applaud SE for doign what they have to keep the game playable during these issues... they had every capability and reason to simply close the game down for all players and say, "okay, we underestimated the numbers, so we're going to shut the game down for two weeks while we scramble to get more servers in place to handle the extra load."

    But they didn't. They kept the servers live, and implemented login restrictions not to shut players out, but to keep those servers from breaking. Is it SE's fault that people are being greedy about "Their game time" and refusing to logout when they sleep or go to work? no, blame the players for that, not the company or the game.

    Should SE implement an AFK timer? Yes, and i believe they will. When They are ready to.

    In all honestly i think it's really sad that so many voices on these forums have yet to show the 'patience and understanding' that SE has thanked us for in their updates. But, it is never the people who are Calm, Rational, and Patient who speak loudest...

    I'd be happy if they'd have actually compensated us for the frustration and irritation and wasted time. Of course they're gonna return the 7 days, it's not compensation, it's obligatory. As it's just giving back what our original purchase was supposed to include anyway, but hasn't been provided due to their server issues. It's no different than if you didn't activate your account and start your trial time until after the server issues were fixed.     Just because they're legally covered doesn't mean they're gonna hide behind that. Any way you try and twist it the 7 days were stolen from the customers due to lack of access ability. Of course they're not gonna say "tough s**t". But saying that just because there is a legal coverage that this counts as compensation is a laugh. Everyone should get the same number of trial days when they buy the game, and be able to use those days. They stand to lose business if they don't at least return the time that was stolen from their customers, whether they're legally covered for it or not. But it's still not compensation. Whether it says they're accountable for it or not, you're still only getting returned to you what you should have had access to in the first place.

    I agree with you completely. They have been so transparent about what they are doin to resolve the issues and the process it takes to fix them. But yet people still act like they have no understanding of whats goin on at all.

    And for those who are saying that you don't game 24 hours, um. 7 days deducted from the 1 month (while waiting for them to fix the issues) still counts as 7 days on that counter regardless of how many hours that would have been spent playing during those days. Let's say 30 days in the free month, and 7 days with server issues. 30 - 7 = 23, They add 7 days when they fix the server issues, brings it back up to 30. Nothing gained and nothing lost as far as that goes. A wash as far as the timer is concerned (you can find the timer on mogstation by the way). The only thing gained is all the frustration and time wasted trying to log in before the 4th, and all the potential progress you could have made with your character. If I go to the hospital for something and they ruin one of my kidneys because of malpractice, am I supposed to be thankful to them when they replace it after a doner kidney is found? My original kidney would have been just fine if they didn't screw up.

    /SIGNED I'll take 1 month or time doubled from the early release until servers capacity is fixed, which ever is greater... This is a paid server not a Free to play MMO.
