    Demanding More Sub Time Due to Servers

    As the title reads, I know myself including multiple thousands have been screwed over 30, 50, or even 70 dollars because of this problem. I'm not complaining that this should have been fixed by now or that it should have never happened. I am realistic in the fact that it is extremely hard to predict how a release is going to go.

    But with that all being said it is unacceptable eitherway. I'm hoping everyone here demands another month of free sub time due to this problem, it sounds only fair seeing as how buying the game for 50 or more dollars and how many days thousands have not been able to play and the cost of missing those days would equal about a month of subscription.

    I still wish everyone be respectable about this, these are not easy problems to fix for SE, but I agree that it should not be tolerated and pushed aside once it's fixed.

    I wish the best for this game and hope to continue playing it when the servers are fixed.

    I agree with the 1 month. I almost died laughing when I saw they were "considering" 1 week. 1 week for all this bs, and that's not even compounded on top of the days we're already owed because of their ineptitude.

    I'm not sure I follow your logic here... You're saying that a few days of not being able to play are worth a whole month for free? It's not like the game has been completely unplayable; there have been up to 230k people playing at any given time. Apparently we are getting an extra week for free due to these issues, which seems fair since they've been happening for about a week. My advice: spend this weekend playing outside, go to the beach or a park, ride a bike, throw a ball around, etc. The login issues should hopefully be fixed by next weekend, and then you can get your fix.

    There have been screw ups since Early Access, which was a week ago, and we are getting another week free. That sounds like a fair trade to me. If the screw ups continue after this weeks patching/maintenance on Wednesday then another week would be acceptable. Demanding a month free because of a week of problems is a tad overkill.

    I'm not sure I follow YOUR logic. So you're telling me you can predict how long we are going to suffer from these issues? At a minimum if you preordered the game you will have had to deal with this BS for 11 days (Aug. 24th to Sept. 4th when they say it will be fixed). Considering the problems we've had thus far, you can color me skeptical that the issue will actually be resolved on 9/4.

    Actually, they should give back days equal to how long we were denied service and THEN address compensation for the frustration people had to go through as a result. One is just refunding lost time, the other is compensation. Giving 1 week when people haven't been able to play for a week, essentially gives players NO COMPENSATION whatsoever for their frustration. Legally they're obligated to return the time lost due to their server issues, denial of service to paying customers can get them into legal trouble if they don't return the time lost. So they already basically HAVE to give that time back. That's them covering their asses, it has nothing to do with compensating their players for the aggravation.

    How about instead of demanding another month free for up to 11 days of issues (including EA, which not every single pre-ordered) we get what we think we are due, which is a free day for every day there were issues this launch. Including Early Access, which you did not even need a retail key for, means as of the 4th, 11 days of extra play time.

    However, if Square Enix does this because it is the right thing to do, then they are on par with their customer service level. According to the EULA you agreed to when you signed up for your account, Square Enix makes no guarantee the game will be available all the time. So they could go the PR route nightmare and say forget it. But I doubt they will do the latter.
