Thanks guys for this awesome thread, it actually cheered me up a little after my last couple of unsuccessful attempts to play. I personally have always been a Final Fantasy fan but FFXIV has even pushed me to breaking points. After 1.0 flopped I didn't think I would ever try this game again but I'm glad I did because I feel it is an awesome game. However like the rest of you I really wish I can play when I want to and all my friends are online. Not when I normally should be sleeping or be at work.

The part that bothers me is not that we are having these problems, it is just that it seems they don't see it as a priority and haven't even tried to put any fixes into it. A long weekend for most in NA but only a third of the people that purchased the game get to play.

If they even put in a Queue I would be happy because it is really frustrating attempting to log in over and over again I would be satisfied. I wouldn't even care if it was a 3 or more hour wait time. At least I would have an Idea of when I would get to play or have an idea if I will even have time to play instead of wasting hours clicking start over and over and over and over again. I could be doing something else.

They could even at least put in a quick update to change the login screen and music so we don't get so tired of looking at it as we fight the 1017 boss.
