Regardless of what you say, do or want you will not receive a refund, it clearly states in the ToS that once the box has been opened it can no longer be returned, it's like buying a toothbrush using it and taking it back saying you don't like it, they'd laugh at you.

You can QQ about it for the rest of your life unless you plan on taking SE to court due to been unable to use the product they have supplied (which will cost court fee's 4x what you have actually paid for the box) then you won't be getting any sort of cash refund, instead you will receive free days and maybe in game items as compensation.
