    If enough users agree to help SE?

    I know we're not living in some sort of make believe land of rainbows but hear me out here, we're a community, let's solve our and SE's problems like a community.

    With the full servers being ground to a halt and everybody struggling to actually log in to the game, not to mention the horrendous multiple services accounts problem that lots of PS3 users fell victim too (as well as some PC users).

    Considering the Legacy users who put up with FFXIV 1.0 (I did not; not out of choice, I just never intended to play in on PC, I was always holding out for the PS version)

    Do you think if we made some sort of deal with SE, perhaps just laying off the Customer Support tickets, or just agree to basically leave the game alone until services accounts are restored, more servers are put in place and Customer Support (who are clearly not able to handle the avalanche of people needing contact) is bolstered, or at least allowed time to deal with stuff that that would be a gesture strong enough to solicit a special bonus item or a couple of days extra free play?
    Do you think SE will take such a bargain seriously?

    I'm looking at my CE box set, and having played the 1.0 beta, the ARR beta and the Early access I'm depressed; The game is out there, being played, but with people staying logged in all night, and others trying to log in over and over. yet others completely unable to play (including myself).
    Is it really the experience we're OK with jostling over one another for? both for server space and for tickets and queues in customer support chat?

    how about "dear SE, I and every user who agrees to this promise, hereby agree to point blank leave this game and Customer Support alone for (perhaps 30 days) with the understanding that you use the general easing of stress, to sort out the numerous issues that have plagued the launch of this game, including the terribly inept customer support, and the server issues and the overwhelming under estimate of a Final Fantasy title on launch day.
    We hope this idea is welcome and that at some point in the future you will find a way to show your understanding and support for our understanding and support"


    Speaking personally, as of this point I am abandoning all attempts to log into this game, to track customer support tickets or to contact SE in any way.

    Dude, wtf? Don't pretend everything is fine, we knew that shit was going to happen, SE just proved to us that they aren't able to maintain a High Quality MMORPG. Why? Well, because they failed with 2 basic things:

    1 - Number of servers per country:

    Almost-as-small-as-an-island-Japan = 20 Servers.

    Rest of the World = 20 Servers.... Really? Oh god, why!?!? SN YU no doing your math?!?!?


    2 - X Number of Sales means X number of players a baby could calculate this crap.


    And i'm not even gonna talk about how freaking ridulous their beta was... Shortest beta EVER. SN was like "We got this noobs, our game is gonna be awesome!" and then release date came and the world was like: "Erm... Nope."

    Well first of all the JP servers are for all of Asia and probably Australia, not 'Japan' what servers did you imagine South Koreans using? or Indian players?
    Secondly, we have access the JP servers too, I have a character on one.

    Most of what SE are doing is very bad handling, but the one thing that's definitely "all us" is this idea that Japan is getting special treatment. Think about it... how come there's is no South American servers at all? or Australian? or African? Are those user being denied a server altogether?

    No, the servers are global. and they work (or don't work as the case may be) globally.




    And while we're at it! Lets throw more money at them!

    Seriously, no one is gonna log out because of this restriction.

    that's exactly my point; the EU servers are so in name only, in essence it doesn't matter what servers any player logs into since all the servers work globally.
    The prevailing notion of SE treating Japan favourably is nonsense; it's just the servers happen to physically be in Japan, plenty of NA and EU players have been using them.
    JP's service is our service too.

    They regularly read the forum and reply to genuine game ideas, it's obvious if you look at threads giving opinion of new features and such.
    It is equally obvious that no one in their right mind would respond to the tomes of angry threads on this forums nor their "eye catching" titles like "I want my money back" or "dear SE, please report to my local police station"

    I'm just thinking out loud like everyone else here. It's just my idea isn't "lets spam the shit out of customer support and the games servers until we get what we paid for; that'll fix things quickly"
    some of the things on this forum reminds me of mindless cavemen "panic, panic, panic, panic, objective obtained? no?: panic even harder!!"
    My official stance on the game is; I'm not touching anything until SE have their shit together enough to get my shit together.
    When have SE done anything to tackle known issues with their games except for saying "we know there a problem, thanks for your patience" and then fixing it in their own time?

    Never, that's when, and with that realization I'm just trying to think outside the box.
