    Early Release players, what do we get?

    I pre-ordered the game, because I was told I would get to play early, before everyone else and get a "head start". After doing some reading "Everyone" is going to get 7 days of game time. What about the people that pre-ordered the game? Do we get anything? A black chocobo mount will easy my pain. I also have to say for the 10th time, I've had the game for MORE then 7 days and have yet to spend one full afternoon playing.

    The only time I can log on seems to be about 9pm at night my time. And that's logging in until I get to a queue.

    What do pre-order customers get? I'm thinking someone needs to post that Gene Wilder Willy Wonka video, 'You get... NOTHING!'

    That's really a big (albeit second) part of the problem.

    The first problem is that it takes them a day to realize there's a problem, then they take another day to address the problem... if you're on the NA/EU servers. If you're on JP servers, they find the problem, and fix it four hours later (check yesterday's (8/31) notices). I think most NA/EU customers would be much less frustrated if they were getting the same kind of response time.

    The second problem is that we're getting sorries without any actual tangible recompense. The sorries are in words, not in actions.

    By the way, labor day is an American holiday, not a Canadian holiday, not a Japanese holiday. Can someone explain why the IT handling the servers in Japan and Montreal are taking the day off tomorrow?

    But yea SE wont give shit for there screw up , it all comes down to you quit and ask for a refund which you can get or let them rip you off with there false avertissement and wait a month for it to get a bit better

    I had a system down for the last 2 or 3 days, I'd wake up at like 9am EST, log on, and just start my day then, because I knew if I did, I wouldn't be kicked off and I wouldn't have to try to log on during peak hours. It was working all up until today when the error 2002 started and now I'm fucked. I think my system has been made obsolete. I'll have to find another one that works lol

    A cute/goofy (depending on perspective) hat and a pet. For myself, I just shrugged and went to play on the JP servers. I had an uninterrupted play experience there and generally had a good time.

    This does have to be the fastest 'victim of their own success' that I've ever seen though, it's kind of amazing.

    I don't really expect them to extend my 30 days, but I'd love it at least if I could get a few free server transfers for once I can in fact log in and play with the guild my friends and I established a year ago for this game.

    Point me to where Square Enix stated that the IT personnel handling servers is taking the day off, and not the NA Customer Service Center?
