Spinning it the way you want to see it. Fact is, SQE sold 300k tickets for a show where the venue can only accept 150k, this is a failure. Only gamers put up with that shit, imagine it was the automotive industry? Too bad SQE backed themselves up legally using ELUA.

Other MMOs had problems, Sim City did, D3 did. But for two weeks in a row? Nah it never happened. No matter how you try to spin it, in 20 years of gaming it's the first time I see that happening. It's a shame though, 'cause it's a really good game.

Pretty much the most ignorant post I've seen in a while. Guild Wars had this same issue for two weeks last year, they turned off digital sales, locked servers. Wow was a disaster up until the first week of Jan after its launch with data loss, crashing servers. Two weeks is the norm for MMO problems it happens because something new always comes up.

No, what they're saying is that it's a failure because SE had a decent estimate as to how many players would be online for Early Access/Opening day and they blew it hardcore. Not to mention the queue failure and their inability to create an AFK timer to boot people off abusing the system to stay logged on. It was poorly planned, the fourth stage of beta was waaaaay too short and even in the end all they have is a player base where the majority is frustrated/let down and they simply bide their time until upgrades rather than implement temporary solutions to placate people.

The game is great, we're getting compensated for the issues & it will be fixed in a matter of a few days. There's nothing wrong with the GAME...it's the servers. Calm down...do you really think the devs are happy about all this? That they're just sitting around, drinking & laughing and not doing anything to solve the issues? Good lord...I freaking love this game. I'll "white knight" the hell out of it. It just sucks that I get home from work and the servers don't even show, so I can't even spam to get in. All I've thought about all day at work was coming home & playing. But you know what? I'll watch a movie instead & keep trying.
