Will second this and have also started experiencing my first instances of lag while traveling. Basically I'll run to a certain point and then hit an invisible wall until the game catches up and loads things like monsters and certain environmental clutter. I don't rubberband, which also makes it sees like the server trusts the client much like XI did, which could possible be exploited later. But in general, this delay seems worst in high traffic areas like certain parts of the main cities and cluttered quest hubs like Quarrymill. I can only really surmise that zones start to struggle as you pass, say, 200+ people in them.
