The Queue is a LIE!!!!

So my brother and I play side by side.
We both went to log in.
He got into the queue a couple seconds before I did. His original queue number was 37
5 seconds later, I get into the queue at 64.
Nothing wrong so far... makes perfect sense.

The next thing that happened has me convinced that something is terribly wrong with the login (as if the failure to login by most NA/EU players wasn't proof enough).

I went from queue 64 to logging in.
At the exact same time, my brother went from 37 to 32 in the queue.
He didn't get into the game for another 30 seconds.

I'm not complaining that it took him 30 more seconds to get in.
I'm just saying doesn't that suggest that the queue system is utterly broken to the point of failure?
At this point it's not even about making the queue bigger.... It's about making the queue work in the first place. It's kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

Before you try to white knight me, ask yourself 1 question....
If this was EA (Electronic Arts) instead of SE (Square Enix) would people still be so quick to defend them?
That is all....

At least you got a Queue. I can't get into the Data Server and there is never a queue on Leviathan. Just 1017 all over the place. Just wasted 45 mins trying to get in

Hell...id say its a dam lie...i just spent 2 and a half hours of trying to log in....finally get a que with 35 ppl...then it ticks to 33 ppl...then what do you know i was que'd up just to get a 1017

That doesn't seem right to me.. But then again, I haven't even been able to get into the queue the last few days.. And when I did, I was number 3 in line and somehow I got error 1017 seconds after.

What I don't get is why the queue DOESN'T work. I don't care if I have to sit in for 1-2 hours before I get the chance to play. Just actively knowing that I'm waiting without spamming a button for 20+ minutes, which is something I absolutely refuse to do, is a vast improvement. Where is the quality of this game that I'm going to be paying for in the future months? Everyone keeps saying that this game is more QUALITY than a free to play game because of a subscription, okay, so where the hell is that quality?

Thousands of us can't even get our characters pop up and this guy is whining about queue # discrepancy lol...
