Error 1017 ***FIX***

As most of you already know, error 1017 is causing unwelcomed stress to hundreds of thousands of people across the world. That is why i am going to propose FIX!!!!!!

Some of you, if not all of you know that SE failed to use an AFK log out system which would have solved most problems in a more efficient manner. Well because an AFK system does not exist, simply leave the game running all hours of the day! The game itself does not use much CPU power or memory, so leaving it up and running 24/7 shouldn't neglect use of other games or programs!

There is however a bug ingame that causes the Camera to lock in the afk "Rotating" position causing you to be unable to play anyway.

Just speculation but maybe they couldnt put a AFK system in place due to Playstation users? Other MMOs are not cross platform like this one so there are going to be tons of server/connection issues. Its the whole reason why other successful companies haven't done it there are tons of input problems. Take blizzard and D3 for example, they made the game for comps with the idea in the future for consoles. But they would need another few years to make it cross platform capable.

As it stands ff14 seems as a game when you can actually play very polished and good. But they seemed to have skimped out on the server connections. Either someone underestimated how popular this game would be or simply didn't do there job.

I hate these "just stay logged in" threads that not a fix it just a band-aid on the problem for you not anyone else. Anyways it a MMO I plan on playing for while so if I can't log in oh well I will try later or different day I'm in no rush.

another good solution is to go to add/remove programs and uninstall FF14
and then install MMO that you can actually play like Guild Wars 2
