I wish my friends didn't have to unlock to play with me

One of the things that really bugs me about this game having a story is how you have to unlock things in order to play them. When I accepted that fact it was o.k but it such a pain when I have the dungeon Hailiti(maybe bad spelling) and my friends are on that level but because they didn't unlock it we can't play.

Has anyone heard of any plans to change this? I can deal with unlocking the dungeons tho I don't care for the story but if they made it so we could invite players who are on the level of that dungeon even tho they haven't unlocked it. It would make me so happy

If you run with low levels they will die etc, there is a reason to why there is a story and do things at a certain level, they have restrictions on things do to many factors, why not help your friends level up, that's the point of a mmo you know socialize and group up.... you complaining a mmo has a story? What did you expect call of duty? Lol..

Phantasy Star Online and Universe separated the story from the online mmo play I was hoping this game did the same but I excepted that it didn't. None the less it still bugs me how my friends have to unlock a dungeon before we can play that dungeon.

We're all in the 20's as far as level so we meet the level requirements to play the dungeons I have already unlock but the problem is that they can't play those dungeons until they get to that part in the story even tho they meet the level requirements for those dungeons. That's what bothers me.

The main story isn't bad just do it, yes there are many mmos that seperate the two but did you expect a final fantasy game to have no story? There fun and easy , you should be glad this isn't a grind fest mmo.... heck you level with the story pretty fast and unlock almost everything in the game.... .. level 50 in 3 days for some people..

they do this so every1 is around the same level when doin the dungeon runs, removes some1 joinin way b4 thier time n wont b a hindrance to other team mates.. and besides its not that hard to unlock the dungeons lol

Its not hard to unlock them I just dislike that we all have to do that part of the story and have that dungeon unlocked in order for us to play together in it. If I was happy with the story I wouldn't have made this topic in the first place. I wish they had separated the two but that's what I wish. I fully understand others have a different view on this. I'm just voicing my feeling.

The best part of mmo's to me is just playing with friends and hunting rares in dungeons as well as selling items in your room/house among other things. I don't care for the story in them. Its a pain that we can't play these dungeons together because they have to unlock them. I wish they made it so if I invited my friend to play Copperbell mines or w/e its called and he's on the level to play it we could just play but that's not the case. He has to unlock it via story which means we aren't playing together.
