Server Options?

Is there any stats on server sizes or which ones are able to be logged into regularly.. I'm now to the point where I'd rather make a new character if I can play than sit there fighting the 1017 all day. Anyone know where I could find statistics on this? Or is it too new to find something like this?

Pretty sure all the worlds are pretty slammed atm. Some are just worse than others. I'd avoid the 10102 worlds since we're completely unable to login.

I think they're pretty much all up on that list. If you find one that isn't, that's where you have your best chances. But overall, just acknowledge the fact that the current server capacity in general is simply being overwhelmed, and there is probably no server that isn't suffering from login restrictions at some point. They are adding more servers this coming week, we're not really sure yet if or how this will affect the populations / availability of the existing worlds though, but let's hope they figure something out.

So I gave it a shot and it only gave me the option to start a new character on 3 servers which were all EU. I wanted to play at the time said what the hell and made one. It was either Siren, Moogle or some other server. Then I got the 10102. I think you're right. Unless you have a character already on one of the japan servers you are struggling to login.
