What are the 2 star Weapons for?!

Im on behemoth and just hit 2 star crafts. But what are these weapons for? No1 is in the need of these...

Probably not worth making at this point. While the HQ 2-star armour and accessories (once melded) are only bettered by lv90 gear, the 2-star weapons seem to be lacking a bit.

Only pointless if you like being half ass through you relic quests. I tend to agree that mats exclude alot people from getting them.
