A Letter EVERYDAY from Yoshi

Dear Yoshi,

I just want a letter from you everyday. I want to know EVERY SINGLE DAY, what you have accomplished in regards to getting the game up and running. I don't want a letter every other day, or every three days, I want a letter EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Right before you take a nap at your desk or on your office couch, or even when you sit down to drink a cup of tea, I want you to write a letter, SAYING ANYTHING.

Example:

Letter 1:
"Installed a hard drive onto a server today, it was fun. We found out that Diabolos server wasn't operational because Bob, one of the server admins spilled coffee on the server rack again... that Bob, sometimes I wonder if he really cares about the players. I got a couple calls today from my buddies over at the Data Centers in EU. They said they need more server rooms, not just actual servers so we're going to send them a moving pod with a generator hooked up to it to run the servers in the parking lot, should be a real blast. One sec, someone's knocking on my door... ... ... ... Okay back. I ordered take-out... mmm smells good. Well I'm gonna go eat now, and I'll hit you guys up tomorrow. Later!

I would be appeased if they extended our 30 days. I'm not subbing if they don't, I've played 1 day since launch.

I really dont know what the hell they have planned, but I think that if Yoshi expects us to be patient, he could atleast take 5 min out of his 24 hours to write us a few small letters regarding the status of whats going on. I'm not asking for a formal letter with an apology attatched, I just want to feel like I'm being kept in the loop, whether it's good news or bad news

There needs to be more transparency in general here. We've all given Square our money, the least they could do is be open with what's happening in the back-end.

Really, they already said what they are going to do and you can be certain they are working on the stated schedule. If by Tuesday, as per the plan, nothing change then you'd be justified in cat-calling the Dev. In the meantime, let SE work out the bug as they already stated.

They haven't said they are fixing a bug, they stated that they are "improving data servers". There is absolutely no reason why people shouldn't be disconnected if they are AFK, it adds nothing to the experience of the game, nor does it make any sense at all. All they have to do is actually implement a working queue, it shouldn't take that long.

There should definitely be some Scrum meetings with the entire community to see. What did you do yesterday, what are your plans for today, how do you plan to accomplish it, etc. Scrum meetings and updates would be ideal. This is straight up stupid these days.

Another fanboy defending the Devs. Dude, are you their attorney? Did they hire you for PR? No, so stop defending them. People want transparency and they want it daily, not every other day. It doesn't take more than 5 minutes to write a paragraph that will relieve 50% of the people in here complaining. That's all. Take your White Knight bs somewhere else.

To thank all of you for bearing with us for so long, we will be looking into different ways to reward our loyal fans and customers, such as an extension of the free trial period. Details on the plans we have in the works will be announced shortly.

I just hope they implement it soon as 1.0 players are due to be billed the end of this week.
