It is getting ridiculous now. I can't log in my server for a full day. Does Square have any backup plan for this release ? do they have any backup server for release if players are more than what they expected? never seen a online game company response so slow to fix the server issue. 1 or 2 days we can understand, 1 week we can understand. but now it is more than 1 week. we still have the same issue. it is real bad production release team with zero backup plan.

It's taken me 10 mins max to get on every time. Also please actually read what square has posted they have clearly said they will be limiting log ins until tegu upgrade and add servers on wed. They have told you their plan, so posts like these do nothing. If logging in is too frustrating I suggest taking a break from this game for a while until the issues have resolved. FF14 isnt critical infrastructure such as electricity and they don't need to shut everything down and fix it today or people die. It's a video game and they are already working on issues and they are currently doing quality assurance tests on the solutions, which I rather them do then push something out that might make things worse.

Game launched the 27th, its the first today...we have until the 3rd for it to be 1 official week of launch...Yoshi stated they have stuff set up this upcoming wed...

While I agree their contingency planning was non existant, they are slowly getting something up to maybe fix our problems...the real problem was launching a game with no afk timer,

Today:

1017 for 25 minutes.
Get in, 90k after 5 minutes.
Try to get back in, 3102 for 10 minutes.
1017 for 15 minutes.
Get in, 90k after 3 minutes.
Try to get back in, NA servers don't show up. Exit client.
Enter client again, start button is greyed out, error 2002 after 10 seconds. Exit client.
Enter cilent again, start button is working, 1017 for 10 minutes.
Logged in, finally get to play!!! .....90k after 5 minutes.

I understand games can have issues, but the incompetence of SE worries me because if they were able to screw up something as important as this, what other problems may there be down the line?

I hope by Wednesday these issues are resolved, not for my sake, but for the success of the game. I don't want this fantastic game to fail because people refuse to put up with this awful login experience.

I agree they cant really do anything in these short spans of maintenance. SHUT IT ALL DOWN. Give them 3 full business days to get their shit together and reopen then. I rather have this than seeing my friends and others complain about not being able to get in.
