Got to keep trying, once you see the queue then you have a chance. I finally got in today around 10:30am EST once I rebooted my pc (the constant 2002 and 5006 errors seemed to jack up the game client). Still from the time I got up this morn (9am) it took me around 1 1/2 hrs to get in lol. And folk wonder why some AFK.

I log out when I go to sleep, and had no issues with the NA servers (except when in peak times people manage to crash the lobby server and I'm greeted with 2002 - pls go get some rest from the game). truth be told, I'm playing in the evenings Tokyo time, so my case is not the norm.

Getting kicked off after the difficult login process, as described by Randalthor, is worse than a horrible experience, but the situation isn't that the game is broken. The servers have been supporting gameplay for hundreds of thousands of people, 24 hours a day, since before launch.

I don't like it at all, either. And I think SE really needs to implement something after the fix to allow people to move characters to servers where their friends, guild, and family are. The existing worlds will stay over-full until something is done to either increase their capacity significantly or move a lot of people to the new worlds.

Just 2.5 more days of this frustrating insanity, both for us and for the SE ops in both datacenters.

never seen a online game company response so slow to fix the server issue. 1 or 2 days we can understand, 1 week we can understand. but now it is more than 1 week. we still have the same issue. it is real bad production release team with zero backup plan.

How fast can you get, lets say for ...

10 to 20 worlds, each using 3-5 server machines, delivered, software installed, plus getting your hosting service to expand your network traffic, make programming change, all just to resolve the congesting issues? Oh yeah, and you have to do this at 2x locations, one being across the world during the time that you should be sleeping.

2 days?!?! One week? Two weeks?
