Has anyone done it?

The part where you get the quest to bring the "sanguine scepter" with 2 materia's in it.

However, in the quest description it mentions a different item - "barbarian's bardiche".

It would make sense to bring bardiche as it's an AXE but in quest objectives it states to bring a scepter.

So which is it? It would be a pain to lvl up weaponsmith just to find out you need goldsmith.

A lot of the relic quest text are broken. If he asks you for something that doesn't make sense, it's probably not the right item. Check the bug section see if someone posted about it already, likely.
