Right I've composed one of those "really long" style jokes.


A man finds genie's lamp one day while out walking and nonchalantly rubs it.
To his amazement a genie appeared, (whilst at the same time quietly thinking, if a genie were to appear out of anything it would be a genie's lamp).

The genie spoke and he said, "I am an all powerful, Genie, however unlike Genies you may have read about, my powers are waning and I can only perform one wish"

The man began.
"Well, I'm a long standing fan-boy of the Final Fantasy Series and the one thing I truly wish for is they'd just bite the bullet and produce a HD remake of FFVII", the man continued spelling out in precise detail of what he wanted the HD remake to be; "not sure about voice acting, if it's there it needs to be top notch and have an option for Japanese with English subs"..."no messing with the fighting system but get rid of the W-Item glitch" etc etc.

Eventually interrupting the man, the Genie thrust out his palm in a halting gesture and said
"Continue no further. I have looked into the deepest wells of my power and it is completely impossible for me or any force on this earth to will Square Enix to produce a HD remake of FFVII and the attempt alone would be to defy and corrupt the workings of the natural world, so to would it risk a destructive compression of the space/time continuum"
The man was shocked at first but eventually his expression turned to one of sad reservation and he said "... to be honest I expected as much..."


After a few minutes quite reflection the man's expression lightened again
"...you know, Square Enix have just launched FFXIV: ARR and it has so many people complaining about errors, especially error 1017. People are pulling their hair out trying to just log into the game. I have a copy of the game at home and I've been trying literally for days to log in, in fact that's why I'm here now; I was so frustrated I just needed to go for a walk. At home I set up one of those see-saw bird things that's pressing the '0' key constantly"

The man then straightened his belt and with renewed confidence he said
"I wish that the 1017 were..." Right then the genie interrupted once more with hand extended but this time on his face, a distant and worried look. He floated there for a moment in pure concentration, while the man stood transfixed expecting any moment for the genie to say "it is done".




Eventually the genie snapped out of it and rubbing the back of his head, he sheepishly said

"...ehh, let's try going back to that FFVII wish"
