Exactly, the servers should have been stable to handle the load of players months in advance, the statement of "we're overwhelmed and wasn't expecting this many customers" is a cop out and a flat out lie.

I already see people coming in this thread and saying "every MMO has big problems launch week" when that is completely not true.

Rift, Star Wars TOR, and Guild Wars 2 are very recent examples of a MMO launching with little issue. Of course these games did have some very minimal log in issues for -a few hours-, but with all of them the issues were hashed out quickly and a lot more people actually got to play on launch day.

We're 5 days after launch and 9 days after early access. This is easily the worst launch in years, it definitely took the title away from the previous holder Diablo 3.
