Dissapearing game text when other characters/NPC's on screen

For the record I have a AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series.

This is a problem new to Early Release for me. I was in previous Phases where this did not occur.

I have noticed game text disappearance occurs whenever you are in a situation for a NPC or PC's name to be displayed on the screen. I can reproduce this bug simply by summoning Carbuncle and moving the screen so his name appears on screen. The moment I turn the camera so he is off screen, or he is dismissed, all text returns. Here are some screenshots of reproduction.

This pattern works for more then just Carbuncle, I was simply using him as a quick example. This pattern holds when any other PC or NPC is present with name displayed on screen.

In the Bug Reports section there is someone else that has experinced the problem and he as well has a AMD Radeon 6700 card. All I can think of is some time in the last week a bug has occured with how the game relates to that series of cards.

I've tried multiple characters, different servers. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do about this to fix it short of possibly changing my video card. But that's not an option at the moment. If anyone has any ideas about solving the issue, I am all ears and willing to try them. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Recently upgraded to a GTX 650 Ti, problem is still present. So not sure what the issue is from. This seems to be a really rare problem.

Are you running any programs that provide an overlay ( ie teamspeak), if so try disabling the overlay, or turning off the program

That may be the problem. I would love to check but I've been unable to log in today.

I do have Teamspeak occasionally with the overlay on. I've turned it off entirely. I will log in and test when I can to see whether or not that fixes the issue and then I will keep this thread updated.

Update: I can confirm that turning off Teamspeak 3, and thus removing the overlay I did have, I seem to no longer encounter that text dissapearing bug. Anyone who suffers the same bug I did, please ensure you have no overlays active.
