I don't mind the volume compared to other songs, but I always have everything but the music at 70% volume. Why wouldn't you though? The sound effects aren't that interesting.

What's important is that the volume of the three (I think that's the total at this point) mount music pieces are all at the same volume level. If one is much lower than the other two (which is the case of the new Magitek music) then an adjustment is warranted.

I actually keep my music volume lower than all my other settings because the music from FATES and general combat are otherwise deafening. Still, I can hear the chocobo and generic mount themes very well. The Magitek is a lot quieter, and that's a bad combination when paired with the mechanical footfalls. Even standing still it is still quieter than the other two mount themes (when standing still as well).

Now I can park my character in the Mist with this mount up. I was getting really tired of the music there. This is fresh, this is good. This is excellent. Thank you, SE. You've made a lot of Hildibrands and Nashus happy with this.

I had glazed over that part in the patch notes today (it was near the bottom) so when i got into my gilded armor today and hear a tune different than before and turned it up, I was excited. I asked in Mor Dhona shout when they changed it and got a bevy of "read the patch notes moron" kind of replies. Needless to say, the ff6 memories started to flood in

Thank you Mr Soken for answering our prayers! I admit in my earlier post I was a little concerned it 'wouldn't fit the mount right', but I was wrong. The arrangement fits it perfectly. Thank you everyone involved in bringing this wonderful FFVI track into FFXIV ARR again! ^-^
