    No valid service account available to play FF XIV

    Hi,

    On the release day I received my FF XIV and I played it for 2 days untill lvl 12

    Yesterday I started the game and I came in a different starting menu;

    The one that says Welcome to FF XIV:

    The following steps are required in order to begin playing FF XIV...

    - Set up Square enix account (which I have)
    - Link your PSN (check)
    - Comfirm purchase info (check)

    NEXT


    So I press next which brings me to a menu where I can press the button I currently posses a Square enix account

    I login with my ID and Square enix password which brings me to the following screen;

    No valid service account available to play FF XIV.

    In order to play FF XIV, you must first purchase the digital download from the ps Store or register a product code.

    * please restart the client for FF XIV.



    I don't know what to do..

    I waited a day because I thought maybe this is a common error and it will be fixed bu as today still nothing.

    So i tried loging in at http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/ to see if I could get more info and a screen poped up with:

    Use of the Lodestone requires a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account with at least one character.
    Please log-in again after you have created a character in-game.




    Please could anyone help me?

    To the OP

    if you starting playing with the 3 head start code after the 30 that code gets cancer and you need to input the new, if you haven't got the new code you need to find it, the SE suppor has a side for it. also if you got the digital game from SE store you can get the code from https://www.findmyorder.com by putting the credit # you use for purchase that day

    I've encountered exactly the same thing. I have the ps3 physical copy of the game. The only other possible step I've encountered is a small mention of 'register with Sony Ent. Network'. I have a SEN account but I was unable to find any place to enter the registration code for the game on that site (if that's even what they were trying to get me to do.) It's rather sad that I was out of town for the past few days and came back to an unplayable game. :-/ Before I left town, I purchased the game and tried to enter what I thought was the registration code (there are two different codes in the case) without success. I sent a tech support request but, of course, haven't heard back.

    ya u need to enter in another code if it is a physical copy then you need to enter in the code on the box or in it. If it is a digital copy then findmyorder.com enter in your info get code.
    now here is the tricky part do not enter this code in launcher or you will have the same thing that happened to me happen.
    enter your code using the mog station found here https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app click the meteor icon not new service account! enter code there and hopefully that works.
    I don't know for sure because I entered my code in the launcher and for some reason instead of applying the service to the preexisting account it made a second one under the same username.

    I have this same issue. I have my serial code, BUT I can't enter it anywhere. Im guessing my 'code' was on my receipt that I of COURSE threw away.

    But I already played so it should work like it did right? I have a physical copy and inputed the codes correctly.
    When I follow your link I don't see a meteor icon and when I login it says my product is unregistered.. Pretty F-in weird.

    I have the same error, but I see my character I had on MOG. The Pre-order code was registered to the site, but I keep getting the "Welcome to FF XIV" screen on my PS3. I understand that it is a PS3 error, but I wish it was fixed faster.

    You might be in this mess. Early on with ps3 sign ups it would create the a second account. So your Early access character is in account #1 and the your product code you got was put into account #2.

    Also if got the Hard copy of the game. The Early access code different then main code . It from what heard is on there very back of the instruction book or box.

    Also need put the hard copy code in the playstation market or on your PSN account manager there a spot redeem codes. not sure what one though.
