For them to just restart the servers every morning at like 8 am? Boots all afkers while they're asleep and gives everyone a chance to get back in the game. Right now since its a 3 day weekend, no one is logging out over night and now no ones really getting in since most people are just afk

I think they need to implement some sort of AFK system. Like if you are AFK for 15-30 minutes it boots you out.

Afk-logout would probably help for a day, then people would just bot or use a device to keep an action going.

I like the daily reboot option until things get fixed. I suppose this option could put strain on the login, but anywho...

I agree* i already have a macro set up for such an event in other mmos on my gamepad. I press the button without a number and it pressed Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww for about an hour, spams the number keys, and then pressed ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss then presses aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

on my other keymap it has the map click all over the screen for point and click only for movement mmos

Yes. Booting everyone at once results in thousands of players all slamming the login servers at once to get back in. The simple, obvious, wtf is wrong with you SE question to be asking is why is there no AFK timeout.

The anti-idle thing doesn't really work either. As for DPS waiting on Duty finder sometimes you queue and go afk for a bit while waiting since it takes 15+ minutes at times to get in a group.

simple temp fix to people not logging out. and it can't really be that much more stressful on the login servers than everyone slamming them constantly for hours trying to login since no one is getting off since they're afk anyways.

It works for World of Warcraft, why wouldn't it work for this game.

In WoW you stay AFK for 20 minutes you get logged out.

its not gonna work because people will just circumvent it. they would make a macro on their gkeys or razer keyboards to press jump then pause 5 min then jump again. to prevent from idling to long. This is why antiafk systems are dumb and pointless.
