    I agree with this.

    I think lottery spawns, done well, would be a great addition. It would solve the current problem, which is that the NMs and the equipment they drop are not "rare" or "special" in any way.

    Additionally... killing the NM over and over again to get drops is no different than if you're killing it's place holder over and over again to get it to spawn, if the drop rate is increased.

    I'm down for some lottery respawns. Its funny how some people will argue to death how we should compromise but when you give them an idea they don't like they will shoot it down. TC I agree, the reason NMs are charming and awesome in FFXI is because there's an off chance you might run into one by accident and your adrenaline shoots through the roof hoping to claim, kill and get the drop. People are enjoying these NMs now but in reality they'll eventually become useless and just as "boring" as the lotto respawn ones in FFXI for those against this. I don't mind the new NMs, they're cool and accessible, but what's wrong with a little of both and don't do it if you don't like it/have time.
