I noticed something interesting. When my party of 8 finished a Behest run over at Camp Broken Water, a few of us decided to do a few Rank 40 Leve's afterwards. Before we started a Leve, the party was reduced to 5 members and one of them parked himself near the Camp Broken Water tent, listing himself as "AFK". After checking his Rank, i noticed that he was Rank 46 while the majority of the party was around rank 35.
So, since the Rank 46 party member listed himself as AFK, i decided to oust (kick) him from the party so that the remaining 4 Rank 35-ish people could do some leve's and recieve the SP calculated for a Rank 35-ish party. Just before i ousted the Rank46, one of my party members started a leve and all 5 of us were joining automatically (including the Rank 46 member). On top of that, 2 fellow party members linked their leve as well.
At that time, we had a party of 4 Rank 35-ish members and one solo Rank 46 player who where sharing the same leve, but were not in the same party together. As it turns out, all 5 of us could still finish the leve together. The Rank 46 would claim a Leve target and we would simply help out. After killing a Leve target, i recieved 604 SP a single monster. Which would be the amount of SP you would get if you were to have a party of players who's rank are close to yours.
I was wondering if other could confirm this as well.
- Simply create a leve party of about 5 members.
- Make sure that 4 out of 5 party member have a rank which are close each other (for instance within a range of -2/+2 from your rank) and make sure that 1 party member has a class which is at least 11 ranks higher with yours.
- Start the leve (and perform multiple Leve Links if you can).
- Oust the highest rank member (with the " 11 rank" -gap).
- Finish the leve while keeping a close eye on the SP you gain from each kill.
You should get the same results if you form a party of 4 Rank 1 classes and 1 Rank 15 class, while ousting the Rank 15 player after initiating a Rank 5 Leve.
