I think there is a sidequest from the grand company guy only visible after you compleete the first company quest

I'm not gonna list GC quests since they're not under the sidequests tab. Besides, they're straight forward, and the quests are this (only with my experience with Limsa's):

Initiation
Person A tells you to talk to the Person B right next to them
Person B tells you about company seals
First mission as a recruit
Imperial Devices
Into the Dark
