Veteran Rewards

The UltimatePay cards don't work the way you think they work. Those cards add money to UltimatePay, which in turn adds Crysta to your Square account. This does not time make. The time cards in Japan are released by Square themselves, as such they actually add time to your XIV subscription directly negating the middleman that is services like UltimatePay. This is how Japanese players have their veteran rewards already, the time needed to unlock them is already bought and applied.

I got those goggles for playing the original ff14 a few years ago but thats it.

Just wondered if an admin could confirm what is going on with vet rewards and what date we are to expect them by?

I bought and registered both the PS3 CE and a PC digital copy so I can play on both systems. I currently have ~60 days listed on my subscription. I already bought 8000 crysta for 180 day sub. I really hope I do not have to wait ~60 days to get my veteran rewards. Though I do understand SE has more important things to take care of first. I do hope a mod can clarify the situation though.

Why cant we just purchase the sub time online with a credit card and get vet rewards? Dumb.

Yeah, same here. Due to the early access rush, we didn't have a whole lot of opportunities to tryout all the races.(Errors) and after trying everything out, I kinda wish I would have made something else.

I could wait, but getting it sooner would be a positive.

I am guessing the 17th is the date the items will become available for 1.0 players. The free 7 days are indeed showing up on my account, making the date I will finally be charged for my subscription 9/17.

You can go to Lodestone --> Mog Station --> square enix account settings (dropdown) --> list subscriptions and check your end date/next estimated date of billing to see when you'll be able to pay for your subscription. And, presumably, get your veteran rewards.

Sure would be nice if we could just buy time cards rather than "crysta" cards in every country to get our veteran rewards sooner, kinda weird that is varies like that. Go figure!

Oh so if you use a prepaid card, you instantly get the rewards ?
I've been seeing some guys with the pets, that answers my question.

In order to get the rewards now you have to use Square's prepaid card. No other card will work the way needed to get the time.
