Is Second Flame Lieutenant max GC rank?

I believe it is the highest one unlocked at this time. When I try to apply for promotion he says can not. I think the ability to see that there are other things to purchase in the future, is just to tease us

Don't forget that we haven't even had the first major patch yet, much less news of the first real expansion. That and the level cap is still 50. If I were to say anything, I'd say we're in those days before Zilart where the only storyline is the nation storyline and the high level city is locked behind plotwalls.

Purely guessing here, but it looks like there will be three more 'classes' of ranks. Private, Sergeant, and Lieutenant we have now. I think in the future we will have the equivalent of Captain, Major, and Colonel. I doubt General (as that should be reserved for main NPCs). Given the rate of expansion of ranks in the past, it may well be 2-3 years before they unlock Colonel. But, no hurries. It will be fun each step of the way with more stories and more things to buy!
