I wanna start off by saying that i haven't been on xiv since the beginning, but i am a long-time customer for square enix. i have paid for ffxi for about 11 years or so (whether i played it or not, it was still paid for). and sometimes for more than 1 content id. so i would have hoped to have some merit with square enix. also i enjoyed playing other titles such as ff7,9,10,12,13, and all the kingdom hearts games.



Well first off, i created a support ticket to basically help fix a mistake that i made, due to the misleading user interface of square enix's account screen. i'm sure there are a bunch of others who did this as well. i registered my collector's edition to my account, not knowing that it would create an all new service account, and now i've been stuck in this predicament for well over the allotted support time period to play this game that i've been so eagerly waiting to play.

i gotta say, i'm a little upset with how much support we players actually get. every experience i've had when i've contacted square enix's support center have been just terrible experiences. i hate having to call your support line. this last time, wednesday around 2:00pm), i called for a good hour and a half straight only to be met with a busy tone each time. your online chat representatives rush all their conversations and close tickets before anyone can even respond to them. i've seen many rant threads started by people who are unsatisfied with your service.

and i know its probably super busy with the 5 dingle-berries you have sitting in a circlejerk that you call a service center with the launch of this game and all, but then again you'd think that you would maybe alot more time and money towards helping the people that put you on your pedestal out.

i've also been searching for fixes for this problem on the forums for a while, but to no avail. all i can hope to really do is draw the attention of the people who matter so people stuck in this same problem can play the game that they paid for.
