OMG BOOT THE AFK PEOPLE

im pretty sure we didn't pay 30 bucks to get stuck at load in screen to ZOMG server full try later... boot the afk people they know its a beach to get back in so they stay online since you wont boot... boot them you guys are robbing us players of the money we spent/wasted on this game.

They are more concerned with getting the new servers online than programming an AFK timer. Especially since most of the AFK people are just people who have gone to the shops for a bit or something.

I've only seen one or two people who were AFK for any real length of time.

you are misguided.
word has spread now throughout all worlds. It is now a common act amongst players to leave their games open when going to sleep for the night etc.

I've heard many players in-game now publicly stating that is exactly what they have been doing - not to mention the hundreds upon HUNDREDS of players who haven't moved an inch in cities, from the beginning of my play times to the end several hours later.

One can only hope that the server upgrade will fix this matter. I'm not really supporting the idea. Sometimes a man's got to do what a man's gotta do. If I take a dump or do chores , I'd like to know I wasn't kicked out during that time. Perhaps those who are afk for more than 4-5 hrs yes. Below that makes absolutely no sense.

Really? Log onto to just about an server and go to any of the major towns and you will 100s of afk people for hours. I actually got logged into Hyperion and played for about 2 hours, and the same 30+ lvl 50s (only noticed them cause 50s are easy to spot right now) are still afk outside of the Flame Company.

If they kicked people after 30 minutes of inactive time, it would not be abig deal if you got kicked cause you could log back in. 4-5 hour timer would do absolutely nothing to solve the issue with afkers right now.

No, 10 min AFK timer, 10 min is enough time to take a small bathroom break get a drink and get back on. I can do both of those and order food where I work within 10 min. I want to get back in the game, not wait for someones connection to go haywire.

While I agree with an AFK Timer, I don't think it's fair to kick people who have not been active for at least an hour.

I agree with a 1 hour AFK timer. I used to consider a 30 min. timer but that's too short.

If you can't resolve whatever you need to resolve in 10 minutes, then log off and log back in. If people weren't camping the servers 24/7, it wouldn't be a problem.
