Unable to obtain JP World List

Can I just ask is this a congestion related issue or my client bugging out?

Logging into the games world server I can see being an issue if it's too full, but what is so hard about retrieving a list of 20 words and the info. for my single character before even trying logging into the game?

Is this a client-side bug? Loads my NA/EU character just fine

I'm not certain, but I think it's server-side and congestion related.

What I do know is that I've seen it come up several times, and after a while it goes away and you can get at least to the world/character selection again. I've seen it come up more often as unable to retrieve the NA/EU world list, but a couple times I've seen the same happen with the JP world list.

Oh, and I agree that it seems weird to not even be able to get that much. Of course the server providing that world and character information is getting hit with lots of players at once, but the amount it has to provide to each of those players is trivial compared to the actual game servers.
