I think this is a great idea...I played FFXI COMPLETELY with a keyboard, and I would love if we could do the same here IF WE WISHED TO. Using a gamepad isn't too horrible, but going back and forth from gamepad to keyboard between playing and chatting feels weird, and inconvenient.
