I do hope that I'm not the only one who foresees their plan to introduce 'new worlds' as simply a way to be able to unlock their sales of the game again and continue selling more copies right.

Not actually going to fix any of the current world congestion issues.

Just another money-making step to maximize sales whilst the chance is there.

Otherwise why no mention of character transfer? new worlds mean almost nothing to the existing players.
Surely it would have been worthy of mentioning if it was going to be made available along with these new worlds.

i'm sure the subscriptions of the existing players will mean a lot to them as well. i'm holding off starting a subscription until i see some stability in the logon/queue/duty finder side of things.

that's the thing.
i'm sure they've probably calculated most suckers will still subscribe given the shit they get put through for some time and they will still come out on top if they capitalize on sales right now.

Well, in some sense.. the players who hasn't been able to log in or play cause their EA expired and have copies late can join those new servers, lol

Wrong forum for conspiracy theories, but character transfers will be available in a few weeks so you can go to a lower populated server if you like.

That's just it, everybody moans and complains but no-one bothers to even read SE's posts to know what's going on... It's to my understanding they said they were introducing world transfers mid september. It's a rough launch, sure, but it will pass eventually.

If worlds are congested, the only thing that really helps is for people to move to other worlds.
While the world transfer is not in yet, it wouldn't have helped much in the current situation since pretty much all worlds are congested.
Adding new worlds helps people that haven't been able to create a character at all yet, but will obviously not help people that insist on going to the most full worlds possible until world transfers open up.

To new players with friends on congested worlds I suggest creating characters on the upcoming worlds and wait for world transfer to open up.
That way you get to play at least.

I can't imagine that they would not initiate a sort of 'free world change' from an overcrowded world to a new world, most games with paid transfers have always done this for balance. I could also see them giving pre-orders and beta players a one time free transfer given the stability of servers at the time.
