This is not some extra we want here, this is a standard for any PC software. If SE can't handle the PC platform, why don't they stick with consoles? I don't remember any weird problems from their console games.

Because their PC games tend to be ports, which is why "basics evade them", because they don't redo the core code for the ported platforms, they just wrap it.
