Thank you for this information Bayohne atleast we know the devs are looking at this issue hopefully it will be addressed soon, but i do agree there are bigger issues and I am a patient person
Really? I'm sure they could just buy the license from an existing program and just implement it without taking "some time" to address. In fact, I'm alt-tabbing out of fullscreen mode while typing this right now.
Can you play with higher resolutions than your desktops native resolution? Otherwise thats not true fullscreen.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
If there wasn't a FPS limit at 60, I could give you a more accurate answer, but for me the difference is definitively noticeable. With same graphic settings I get about same performance in fullscreen 1920x1080 as i do in windowed 1600 x 900. In windowed mode it seems that turning off AA gives a better FPS boost than then turning it off in fullscreen.
I use GTX 460 in SLI btw.
Why don't people use windowed mode and set the resolution to their monitor resolution?
Thats why I'm doing and it works quite nicely.
For some people there isn't a similar enough size to their resolution available.
