But how do I report this cute little group of botters?


I have video evidence that I'm going to upload to youtube as well with all their names, and gear they were using (all level 1)

All the archers to the right were killing all the local mobs, nearby players had difficulty clearing some local quests (killing wild boars and black bats) and the healer on the left was keeping them capped out, he had level appropriate gear so I wasn't sure if it was a random healer being silly or more likely another bot.

Anyways how do I get these guys off the server so actual players can get on?

Yeah I guess I have seen some like this. Its mostly away from everything and it will be like 4-8 players all standing together and all the same lvl.

For starters you don't go about publicly calling them out; pretty sure that's against forum rules. You send in a report to the in-game GMs stating that you think characters X, Y, and Z are botting and they'll look into it.

Saw some last night on my server. They take up space on the servers as well as the gold farmers that spam chats.

In game you can type /supportdesk then choose the appropriate category and fill out the form (if given) or you can use http://support.na.square-enix.com/index.php click on the ffxiv icon then at the bottom of that page is a button that says report bugs or offending players. You could also just use the contact us button at the bottom of that page. Good luck!

all those bots no wonder people cant log into the game and play. Thats actually a big problem and it does need to be dealt with. As for the person saying its against forum rules to call them out as cheaters i dont believe its against the forum rules so long as you dont techincally type out their names but since a photo was posted with their names then its kind of iffy so maybe maybe not against forum rules.
