Petition for server resets to clear people who are AFK.

Since SE has stated they have no plans on implementing an auto-kick system till after they add new servers, why not have a short term solution to help those of us who currently cannot play?

A huge portion of the reason most of us cannot log on is because the amount of AFkers currently. Walk around any town or aetheryte with rested xp especially and you will see masses. I'd hate to see the amount AFK in inn's currently. Let's face it, by the time most of us get in we are in fear of not being able to get back on. So the majority out there are not logging out because of this.

Why not roll out short server resets, to help those of us who haven't been able to log on all day(or days) a chance to play.

For the life of me I can't figure out why this has not been done or is not something that will be done. What possible reason is there to not do this? You clear up congestion and ease the communities frustration. I think there is more going on than is led to believe and that is why this is not done. Your basically went from V 1.0 being terrible game wise to V 2.0 being terrible service wise. With people still having a sour taste from V 1.0 and the publicity that followed, I fear this may be the last straw for SE and online gaming.

How do you figure? It will at very least put a bug in their ear if enough people take note and want the same thing. If that's the case, they would as a company consider the feedback from their community. As someone who did participate in every phase of the beta, I know Yoshi P does listen to feedback, even if he doesn't make the time to respond and address it personally.

Just kick them after some time. I come back hours and there they are still sitting or standing while those that paid like them are having a nightmare getting in. Sad allot of people are like this

They wont do it because they don't care, they have our money that's enough for them. That has to be the case right? I mean no sane company would read forums, news blogs, facebook, phonecalls, and emails that are asking for server restarts to clear afkers and then just completely ignores it....

It might help for the first 20 minutes, but because the game is SO God awful to log in to people will still not log out once they get in. I was going AFK in my inn just so I didn't have to repeat the 2-hour process to log in.

ahaha you people are funny. Petitions matter when people are listening. There hasnt been a post from SE here in ages xD what do you think we are doing here? the petition should be the THOUSANDS of threads dedicated to the very topic you are speaking of, or maybe the TENS OF THOUSANDS of posts about an Afk ban. not a petition with 10 people signing it. Thats how you get a gold star and a pat on the back.
