    A New Limit Break System?

    Maybe it's just me, but I feel the current Limit Break system... It sucks. The healing Limit break appears to be the most useful (and since Bard has had it's class altered, it's healing is horrible) and the one everyone saves for, which results in almost no one using it.

    I personally wish there was something more along of a FF9 Trance set-up with each character. Build up a gauge and go into a cool form or something.

    The limit break system is fine. The healer and tank breaks are powerful without being game breaking and are often just enough to save a party from a situation that might otherwise see the group wipe.

    The dps ones might need a little bit of work.

    The Healing Limit Break cures % of the Max Hp of all people and it depends on the level of the Limit Break. So your comment about it that it sucks for bards is just futile, because it doesn't matter which class uses it.
    But I agree with you that the bard job class needs a new Limit Break. They already lowered the support possibilities of us.

    You sure? Cause any healing I've done via limit break with a Bard has been pathetic.

    I agree. When I see Limit Break I think of what they were in the games of FF past. In this game they don't feel cool and they don't feel powerful. I want to feel powerful for using a Limit Break, not feel like it was something I could have probably lived without but fooled myself into thinking it would make a bigger difference than it did.

    the one thing i don't really understand is, why is there only a "Group" limit break and not a per-char limit break. i don't really have enough play through to judge the power of the limit breaks, but i feel it would be allot more fun, useful, and group oriented of each char had a Limit break. OR if they keep it as a "Group" limitbreak, then have it so that 1 person activates, gives a menu/warning/message of some kind (similar to FFXI) which other chars (within a limited time) can also hit theres to activate there, makes it a "TRUE" group limitbreak.

    just my 2cents, for what it's worth.

    I agree on the group limit break being weird. I really would like a single character limit break, maybe not being as powerful or just (kinda as I brought up) a trance that gives some major buffs for a short time. Mages can cast quicker, Tanks take less damage, Damage Dealers deal more damage or something of the sort. The group Limit Break is okay but it just doesn't feel very Final Fantasy and the fact that it's "type" based not class based is worse IMO. All casters seem to share the same limit, all DPS as well as with healers. It's weird for a Lancer to suddenly do a "Warrior" Limit where he pulls out a huge buster sword.

    I also agree that limit break should be much more powerful, and I would like to see more diversity for each limit break. like possibly making the group have a say when someone goes to use it, a yes or no for the rest of the team, if more yes then it pops off. And maybe having multiple limit breaks for each type. like single target dps/aoe dps. aoe hot, or aoe flat heal.
