    gathering questions

    anyone know why there aren't any level 5-10 mining nodes in limsa or gridania?

    why aren't there any low level botanist nodes in limsa or ul'dah?

    limsa has the armor and blacksmith guilds, but no mining points to go along with it.

    ul'dah has the weaver guild, but no botany points to go along with it.

    was this an oversight, or is there something to 'unlock' them?

    ran around for about an hour with triangulate/prospecting up and didn't see a single node in those areas

    Simply put, they want to ease you into the class by only having you start off gathering around the city that houses the guild.
