You've already been told that "tell me a date" doesn't work in game development. It's that simple. They will announce a date only when that date is finalyzed, not when you demand it.

Find one game developer on this planet that gives dates on releases. In fact, I'll make it easier. How about a name of any publisher that gives dates on update releases months in advance?

Honestly, you're being overly demanding and part of me wants to report your post for trolling because it's stupid to think that a game developer will come right out and give you a date. I am absolutely shocked at how much release information SE is already giving us, be happy with what we have. Tanaka could be running the show and we wouldn't even have forums if that was the case, be grateful.

Ishgard is coming after the combat update. Common sense should tell us if it was coming 3 years down the line then they wouldn't even mention it. Common sense should tell us that since they used the combat update as a measuring tool that they will be working on getting Ishgard to us one the combat system is out. Common sense should tell us that it'll probably be between 1 and 3 months after the combat update. It could possibly be a part of the full implementation of Grand Companies, who knows.

Actually, there are a few that do it (mostly out of panic and overreaction to community pressure, like Creative Assembly), and are hated/disrespected/flamed costantly by the community because in the majority of cases they won't be able to keep the promises they make.

I don't know if you're joking but I'm a poli sci major and most people who are republican live in under populated areas with low education, so its actually not correct to assume that she flips burgers, that being said, she is a troll, I hate the way he/she talks, and I don't think that person has a college degree from the way they talk about it, its an average of 5 years for a bachelor's now a days. As a poli sci major just know I'm kinda neutral on politics with some social issue leaning democrat, but as far as the budget goes I tend to be a fiscal conservative aka republican. So Idk i'm a mixed ticket voter usually on the issues that matter since I live in a state with where the republican party went tea party [ugh] and is trying to psycho cut education lol.
