Learn to read patch notes...whiner. Stop crying, they're paying for your first month also you agreed to participate in early launch, did you think everything was going to run perfectly smooth?
There's also service restrictions in place, if you look at the Log In Screen...
Early launch is done and gone, as should the login issues be, and they aren't paying for the first month, they are giving it to you for free to stay competitive. And your use of the phrase "run perfectly smooth" Implies that it runs for everyone be it smooth or not, with almost 50% of the servers on lock down at any given time I wouldn't call it running at all.
What is more frustrating is that there is no longer a queue, as well. So, it's not just a matter of being 138th in line. Now we are told to "wait until an opening is available," as if there is any way to possibly recognize that a spot has opened up.
Apparently SE is vying for Blizzard's title for the worst launch ever and most egregious use of "We didn't know so many people would be playing!" This launch has been so horribly mismanaged that it has been become comical, and yet the love affair for Yoshi-P continues. Look, it's more than just recreating the broken game, which he and others did beautifully. There's another aspect of this relaunch, fanboy dingbats, and that's how successfully you actually bring it to the people who have paid you money.
All the apologies, all the "We really appreciate your support as we strive to bring you a quality product" is all just lip service, clearly. The launch could have gone smoothly, and the feigning of ignorance by companies that say they didn't realize the incoming population of the community is insulting. The reality is that they nickle and dime us, they set up the bare minimum of servers to reduce costs, and bandaid the gushing-blood problem by scantily introducing more servers and eliminating sales of the product.

You know, I do understand all the people saying to be patient.. I also have to say that I am in the IT industry as so many others are, and yes I have also been apart of about all the major MMOs and the Launches. I am very sure that SE is working to fix the game and servers..
Though I have to a say.. People pointing to the Agreement and telling people to shut up from being angry, are really some what out of line. The Launch Date is passed. The absolute lowest load time for the servers is now, yet they are full. They have not gifted me with free 30 days. I paid for it. We all do. The companies that make MMOs build it into the price, they know it is yours. The fact that money has been paid and people can not play the game is very unacceptable. This is not a 4 hour maintainence, this is days of no access. What is the worst part, is they will not at least be forth coming with information. The are vague and no matter how much the say sorry, and how much the "quote" work on the situation, we as customers of SE should be treated better,, as of Posting this, I am not even able to contact Customer Support..
Though not amount of justification is going to help at this point, they will do what they are going to do, plain and simple. I do not believe it is a lack of caring for us, I think it is just poor PR and willingness to be open to the public about what is happening and an honest plan to get people on the servers.. To be fair as will all companies, the only way to really make it clear as the customer is to stop spending money. I am not asking people to do so.. I am only pointing out that as a Customer your only real power is to not give them money.. demanding refunds and refusing to pay for the service.. Again.. Only stating the obvious.. not asking people to do so, just saying that each person has a choice.. So instead of flaming the forums either way, people should stay aware of the situation, and be kind, and decide what is best for yourself..

How other MMOs use the queue system:
1) Player logins but world is full... 89 in front of him, so he's 90 in queue. Players in game don't notice the busy nature because their system is GOOD.
2) AFK system boots inactive players even makes them to /sit to stop running and jumping.
3)People that log out, DC, have to work, etc free up more space..
4) Player that was 90 in queue waited almost no time due to GOOD IMPLEMENTED SYSTEMS.

1)Disabled because too congested LMAO
2) No AFK system! Hahaha
3) No active Game Masters to kick botters/spammers! Or ensure quality!
