Got in queue then 1017?

Has anyone got this before?

I kept trying logging in and getting 1017 error. And at last it showed that I'm in a queue. But 2 minutes later, a Error 1017 window pop up on top of the queue and kicked me out of the game(I mean went back to "start" screen).

Really? You don't kick those AFK people out of game but kick me out of the queue instead?

yeap same here, its ridiculous, we dont want to get into the queue for Error 1017, we want to get into the queue for the game

Yep it's so bloody stupid. I can not wrap my head around what the hell was SE thinking. They are promoting people to stay in game and leave their computers/ps3 on 24/7. Sucks for the rest of us who are considerate and care for our electricity consumption lol.

I think SE learned a valuable lesson with this one. I mean, clearly someone wasn't watching the public somewhere at some point and time. I'm just an average fan of the FF series and even I could have estimated that the game's fanbase was going to be ENORMOUS. Anyone who is someone is a final fantasy fan and over the years we've spread the word to our friends, who spread the word to their friends, who tried the game out and became fans themselves, I mean come on SE, how could you NOT see this coming?!

They'd fix half their server congestion by just implementing an afk timer boot.

I 1st made my toons on NA/EU. I did EU 1st and my friend says "dude if you do that when you are on no one else will be on they will be sleeping".. I WISH!

So I wanted to play so I been playing every day on JP servers. Tons if English people like me on and JP servers .. some of the nicest people.

As long as they get this many players online, SE is making money anyway. It doesnt matter those people in game are idling or actually playing. If SE can keep those people go afk in game for years, they would say ARR is the most successful MMO FOREVER!
